The sun, sinking slowly towards a lake. Wrapped in myself I follow, blinded, the gold taking my eyes and wrapping them in this glowing box lined with perfectly reflective foil. I am a lizard in this sun. It is offering me an apple. It shines fiercely at me, bullying my perspective. |
