I felt myself touched
in a way
I haven't been touched
for a long time.

I felt like breaking down,
but who to and who would listen
to me envisaging everything
I was ever scared of
in her confession of my life.

I do believe in honesty.
I am an adult woman, too intelligent
not to foresee the future.
