What a pity for the world that illness prevented Beethoven from beginning his tenth symphony. But no doubt St.Peter commissioned it the minute Ludwig walked through the Heavenly Gates. I do hope he wasn't restricted in his composition by the presence of all those rather twangy harps..... |
