Some of my friends love to go for invigorating runs early in the morning. They say it wakes them up.

The interstellar vending-machine in the hitchhiker´s guide to the galaxy produces an invigorating drink. Supposed to be kind of refreshing and revitalizing. But Arthur Dent thinks, it just tastes a bit but not quite exactely unlike tea.
Coffee is the most invigorating thing I know of. Excluding sex, of course.
