When you're sixteen, parents are a hassle. They don't let you do anything cool or fun, and they are so stupid and annoying. When you're thirty-two, they have wisdom and insight. They are what you become, and they are the ones who will always love you.
my parents, if you ask them, are always ok. mama's doing fine, papa's doing just fine. for 30 years. that's zen for you.
They can be bad or good, either way they are trying to be good.
