Another curious word, often associated with Christmas (as in »the zeal of the Lord of Hosts will perform this«). But if you turn the word round it says 'laze'. Does this tell us that God, like Father Christmas (see Raymond Briggs), has spent all the remainder of the year resting – preparing for one colossal push in late December?
