Part of the glory of chat (and not just chat-ups) is that, if handled aright, it can so easily pass into deeper conversation. But for that to happen, you need to have the chatting partner there in front of you – to see the eyes, the mouth, the smile, the frown, the body language...Even the most well-run, inter-active blaster in the world can never give us that, it seems to me. Oder? as they say, over on the German line! |
