I remember a short story named Rain bye William Somerset Maugham. I liked reading it, it's well written, but I never came to understand the ending (it ends with the sentence »He understood.« and I didn't). I read a pretty long comment on it and all that was said in it was that it was considered Somerset Maughams best short story and that the ending was obvious. Yeah.
