His bedroom was a surprise. Neat and spare. But warm and welcoming at the same time.
The bed was just firm enough. The blankets warm and the pillows soft.
Rather to my surprise, his first interest didn't seem to be the bedroom...Perhaps it will prove to be his last (and hopefully, lasting) interest!
