As much as you want. You will find that you feel more thirsty than usual, so you naturally increase your fluid intake.

It is usually safe to eat your normal food. You may find that some food (for example: fruits in large quantities) gives baby an upset tummy, so try to avoid this.
One night my girlfriend Bossie couldn't stop giggling and cracking up over anything and everything. After a while I said: »Dang, what got put into your feed?« and all of a sudden she got real mad and slapped my face and stormed out. I figger she's kinda sensitive about her name, and even when I pull up a stool just to sit down next to her she gives me this look and tries to kick me.
You can feed a newborn with breast-milk or with bottle-milk.
